Job Description:
The Senior Programmer / Analyst will provide key technical leadership and functional support for Company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform that comprises of Pivotal CRM (5.9 / 6.x) Active Access / Rich Client, Mobile Client, Synch Stream, OSM and various other Pivotal CRM add-on modules. Supporting tools and technologies include Scribe, SSIS, BizTalk, SharePoint 2007, Visual Studio 2008 Team Suite, Marketing First, Partner Hub, Customer Hub, Tree view, Crystal Reports 11, MS Reporting Services, SQL 2005, VB6, VB.Net, C# and XML Web Services. The solutions developed and supported will provide business process automation for Company’s front office including global CRM / SFA and Marketing Automation, Lead Management, Opportunity Management, Funnel Management, Market Segmentation, Price Management, Competitive Analysis, Customer Complaint, Sample Management, Technical Service Requests, Contact Management, ERP Post Sale Data integration and Key Account Management. This position will be primarily responsible for the development, support and maintenance of new application code and features using an Agile Software Development methodology with additional responsibilities including Pivotal application administration, Tier 2/3 support and server maintenance for all CRM system. Deliverables include detailed technical designs, code reviews, working software, unit test (documentation / execution) and source code management. The ability to operate as part of an international team including application managers, project managers, technical leads, QA and business managers in a busy environment will be essential.


Application / Code development and system administration for all CRM systems.

Support and administer global Pivotal CRM environment as part of the devleopment team.

Design and Develop solutions for application enhancement requests.

Design and recommend enhancements to improve user experience and exceed user expectations.

Work with business analysts to develop technical solution based on functional requirements.

Work with project team to identify issues and risks that may impact solution quality or delivery.

On assigned tasks, plans, schedules, and executes the work effort required to meet the specifications and time requirements

An understanding of and experience with all of the phases of the Agile /Scrum SDLC.

Document technical specifications along with detailed test plans

Develop application programs based upon technical specifications.

Provides documentation on new and existing applications

Maintains, configures, and modifies existing application programs.

Ensures that completed work meets with all IS best practices and policies.

Interacts with account management, project management, managers, and clients as appropriate.

Keeps abreast of new hardware/software/security technologies and IS practices as they are delivered to the marketplace.

Is willing to administer and support mission critical 24×7 applications.

Provides training and advice on the applications to users and other IS personnel.

Suggests improvements in software and/or procedures to management.

Experience/Other Certification Required

7+ years of information technology experience.

Minimum 7 years of:

– Pivotal CRM 5.9 ASR, Client Script, ASP and XML development, Synch Stream

– VB6, VB.Net, ASP.Net, C#, SQL, XML Web Service

– SharePoint 2007/2003


Experience Desired:

– Pivotal CRM 6.0, Handheld, Call Scripting / CTI, Market First, Parnter Hub, Customer Hub, OSM, Synch Stream

– Agile Development Methodology

– MS Visual Studio Team Suite
